Loader Operator

Cajun Ready Mix Concrete is the largest operating ready mix concrete company in the Greater Baton Rouge Region with over 60 rear discharge mixer trucks and 9 state certified batch plants.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Loader Operator to join our growing team in Livingston, LA.

Summary:
The Loader Operator performs activities daily that include clearing debris, moving products, and cleaning up areas around the job sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operates a front-end loader to accomplish difficult or highly complex tasks.
• Conducts daily routine inspection of assigned equipment.
• Adheres to all safety rules and guidelines.

• Maintains records of time worked and materials used.
• Help to perform clean up and maintain the plant area
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Loader Operator experience
• Superior skill operating assigned equipment safely and efficiently.

• Valid driver’s license/ID (preferred)

• Training and certification on loader as outlined by OSHA 1926.602

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to physically operate heavy equipment.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, and stand to operate and repair heavy equipment.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
