Line Cook- Eggs Up Grill
Purpose
To serve guests by providing them with a superior food product along with quick, friendly, and superior service.
Essential Job Functions
Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:
· Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff and to guest satisfaction
· Food preparation and portioning prior to service
· Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
· Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
· Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
· Properly pack, plate, and present all menu items
· Properly hold and store all foods
· Take out trash/Sweep and mop floors
· Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
· Must follow the guidelines stated in grooming standards policy
· Communicate openly, timely, and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress, and problems.
· Always be approachable, coachable and have a good positive attitude
Non-Essential Job Functions
· Must be at least 18 years of age
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
· Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:
o Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.
· Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:
o Making observations
o Communicating with others
o Reading and writing
