McGee’s 72 is seeking an experienced, career-minded Line Cook to join our year-round kitchen team.
Located on the beautiful Spruce Run Golf Course in Williamsburg, McGee’s 72 is a high-volume east side restaurant serving lunch and dinner seven days a week. Our kitchen values consistency, discipline, teamwork, and pride in execution. We are looking for cooks who treat the craft seriously and take ownership of their station.
This position is focused on daytime service and prep execution, supporting lunch service and preparing the kitchen for the evening team.
Schedule Required:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Shift: Approximately 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Core Responsibilities
- Execute lunch service dishes with accuracy, consistency, and attention to presentation
- Maintain strong station organization and prep levels throughout the shift
- Prepare ingredients and components needed for both lunch and dinner service
- Follow recipes and maintain consistency in execution
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitation standards
- Control portions and minimize product waste
- Support the Kitchen Manager and leadership team in maintaining kitchen flow and organization
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of line cook experience preferred
- Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking fundamentals
- Ability to work clean, organized, and efficient under pressure
- Self-motivated with strong station ownership
- Pride in your work and finished plates
- Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule
- ServSafe certification preferred.
