Line Cook
Introduction:
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team at TeeBox Indoor Golf Club. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and portion ingredients, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and making sauces.
- Cook and plate dishes according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of ingredients and cleaning of workstations, dishes, and utensils.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the kitchen leadership team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a line cook or in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic math skills for portioning and recipe adjustments.
- Ability to work breakfast and lunch shifts
- Ability to work mornings & nights on the weekend
