Prep/Banquet Cook

A Prep Cook/Banquet Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation of food items for various culinary needs, such as banquets, events, or regular restaurant service. You will collaborate with the culinary team to ensure that food preparation is efficient, timely, and meets quality standards. Your responsibilities will include preparing ingredients, cooking food items, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and assisting with plating and presentation during service.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a prep cook or banquet cook in a similar culinary environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed for banquet events.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- Prior culinary experience.
