Light Duty Construction Technician

D&H United Fueling Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Light Duty Construction Technician in Denver, CO.  The primary duties of the Light Duty Construction Technician are to assist in the installation of underground and aboveground storage tanks, piping, electrical, excavating, busting and removal of concrete, re-pouring of concrete, installing dispensers, and other petroleum related work while providing complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner, and maintaining excellent safety standards.

Responsibilities: 

• Conduct work on construction projects, concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements
• Framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing small portions of concrete
• Operate equipment such as company work truck, skid steers, forklift, man-lift following all equipment and company safety protocols
• Ensure safe housekeeping practices are followed at all times, including job cleanup at the end of each day 
•  Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order 
• Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks in progress to comply with codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements
• Create and maintain positive working relationships with crew members, vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors to maintain a timely flow of supplies, materials and sub-contractor work

Qualifications: 

• Must be willing to travel occasionally and work out of town including overnight stays
• High school diploma or GED (required) 
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Pass Background check, drug test and DOT card (required)
• Experience in construction work helpful and any heavy equipment operation is a PLUS will certify
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems is a huge PLUS
• Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and customer relations skills 

Ability to: 

• Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service 
• Ability to lift 75 –100 lbs when necessary, during the course of performing their necessary duties
• Ability to work outside in a high traffic area during all types of weather
• Work independently and as a member of a team while following all company procedures
• Work under time constraints efficiently and have the ability to work well with others
