Lift Operations Attendant
Job purpose
The Lift Operations Attendant’s primary duty is to care for operations at the loading stations of the lifts at Lost Valley including passenger loading, ramp/maze maintenance, and ticket checking, etc.
Duties and responsibilities

Aid guests in the lift-loading process via explanation and “bumping” chairs

Maintain surface of loading area and maze throughout the day

Monitor lift throughout the day to ensure proper function and be vigilant for potential problems or issues

Check lift ticket/season pass of all passengers prior to loading

Notify Lift Ops Manager or Supervisor if the possible problem is detected, or there is an incident of any kind

Perform morning pre-operational setup of assigned lift, including snow removal, ramp maintenance, maze setup, etc.

Complete all morning pre-operational checks

Ensure all shut-down procedures are followed, no passengers left on the lift, and that lift is ready to operate the next day

Maintain cleanliness of lift return terminal shack and any other work areas

Any other tasks assigned
Qualifications

Must be 18+ years old

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge of all lift policies for employees and guests

Good work ethic, dependability, and excellent customer service & communication skills

Professional and positive attitude
Working conditions
The Lift Operations Attendant position is based both inside and outside and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind exposure, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (10,500+ feet).
Physical requirements
Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand and/or sit for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, lift objects which may be heavy, etc.
