The Nursing Supervisor leads the evening shift, supporting and supervising Nurses and CNAs to ensure safe, high-quality resident care. This hands-on role jumps in wherever needed, from covering a cart and assisting with new admissions to training new nurses and coordinating care with a focus on teamwork, service, and compliance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities-
Lead the 3–11 shift: assign/adjust staffing, run shift huddles, ensure timely hand-offs.

Support the floor: cover med/treatment carts as needed; assist with complex cases.

Admissions & transitions: oversee new admissions, initial assessments, orders, and family updates.

Coach & train: precept new nurses; reinforce best practices and policy compliance.

Rounds & quality: conduct resident/family rounds; monitor falls, skin integrity, and infection control.

Documentation & compliance: ensure accurate charting, MAR/TAR oversight, incident reporting, and survey readiness.

Clinical escalation: respond to emergencies (e.g., rapid/code), communicate with providers, and escalate to DON/Administrator as appropriate.

Wage scale determined by years of experience. Benefits & bonuses available for full-time employees working 30+ hours per week.
Qualifications-
Active Florida RN or LPN license (required).

Long-term care/SNF experience preferred; charge/supervisory experience a plus.

Strong assessment, organization, and communication skills.

Comfortable mentoring staff and stepping in on the floor when needed.

PCC (EMR) proficiency and commitment to resident-centered care and compliance.
Schedule: Full-time, Evening shift (3:00 PM–11:00 PM)
