Westview Nursing Home is a 60-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in long-term care, located in Center, Missouri. We are seeking LPNs who are interested in starting a long-term career with a facility that has a one-of-a-kind census!

Responsibilities:
· Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
· Assist with daily living activities for patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
· Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
· Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding care plans.
· Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
· Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
· Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.
· Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols within the facility.
· Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
· Experience in senior care or geriatrics is highly preferred.
· Strong skills in IV insertion, suturing, and patient monitoring.
· Knowledge of ICD-9 coding is a plus but not mandatory.
· Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
· Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.
· Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on dignity and respect.
