Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

North Village Park Healthcare is a 184-bed skilled long-term primary medical care facility located in Moberly, Missouri. We are seeking LPN’s that are interested in starting a long-term career with a facility that has one of a kind census! Successful applicants must have an unencumbered Missouri nursing license, provide a good work effort, a team approach and excellent quality of care.

• Full Time Days and Nights Needed

• 12 hour shifts - weekend rotations ( 7a-7p & 7p-7a)

• LPN pay- Days  up to $37/ hour

• LPN pay- Nights up to  $40/hour +shift diffs

Responsibilities:

·        Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

·        Assist with daily living activities for patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.

·        Monitor patient health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.

·        Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding care plans.

·        Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

·        Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

·        Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and care strategies.

·        Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols within the facility.

·        Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.

·        Experience in senior care or geriatrics is highly preferred.

·        Strong skills in IV insertion, suturing, and patient monitoring.

·        Knowledge of ICD-9 coding is a plus but not mandatory.

·        Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.

·        Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and medical staff.

·        Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on dignity and respect.
