Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator (LNFA) to lead our skilled nursing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact through servant leadership, operational excellence, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership across all departments, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

  • Develop, implement, and monitor plans of correction for any cited deficiencies, ensuring sustainable compliance

  • Recruit, hire, and support competent department directors, supervisors, and licensed/unlicensed facility staff

  • Consult regularly with department heads to evaluate operations and improve services

  • Uphold all safety protocols and regulatory standards related to fire safety, infection control, and risk management

  • Monitor and guide the facility’s risk management and resident safety initiatives

  • Interpret and manage monthly financial statements, contribute to budget development, and oversee expense control strategies

  • Collaborate with A/R support teams to ensure timely and complete collections through structured policies

  • Protect and promote resident rights, including privacy, self-determination, and fair treatment

  • Ensure proper management and accounting of resident funds in compliance with current laws and regulations

Qualifications
  • Active Texas LNFA license (required)

  • Minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting

  • Recent experience in long-term care or skilled nursing leadership (required)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health Administration, Business Administration, or a health-related field (preferred)

  • Strong leadership, team development, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage operational, clinical, and financial functions effectively
