Insurance Marketing Specialist - Commercial Lines

Position Description:
The Insurance Marketing Specialist will manage marketing initiatives to promote insurance products and services, as well as handle client inquiries and sales. The role requires a deep understanding of insurance products, the ability to market them effectively, and the capacity to build and maintain client relationships. This position combines a focus on sales and marketing with strong customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Client Acquisition
- Identify and prospect potential clients through inbound and outbound methods (calls, emails, networking events, etc.).
- Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate insurance coverage options (life, health, home, auto, etc.).
- Manage a portfolio of clients, provide policy updates and renewals, and manage claims as needed.
- Create a spreadsheet of all quotes and follow up on them
- Turn the completed file over to the Producer to set appointments
- Negotiate terms and pricing
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with the Producer to determine potential markets to approach and develop strategies that promote the agency’s insurance products and services.
- Order and send loss runs to markets
- Develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to attract new clients, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Provide excellent customer service to existing clients by addressing their inquiries, offering policy upgrades, and providing consultation services.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
- Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with state and federal insurance regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate client interactions, insurance policies, and marketing results records.
Required Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Property & Casualty Producer license
- Marketing Knowledge: Experience in digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation.
- Sales Skills: Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Organizational Skills: Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in both insurance sales and marketing roles.
- Familiarity with CRM software, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field is preferred.
