Learner Engagement Support Specialist

OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Learner Experience Guide, the Learner Engagement Support Specialist is a member of the Operations team and supports the learner experience at Robertson College.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEARNER SUPPORT
● Attend faculty/staff meetings and training sessions.
● Respond to student questions and concerns.
● Maintain regular contact with assigned learners and follow the learner Review Committee process guidelines.
● Collaborate with other teams to assist learners while actively participating in the Learner Review Committee.
● Document student correspondence.
OPERATIONAL
● Review and make necessary updates to process documents as required
● Review student files before graduation.
● Process legal name change requests.
● Process and send enrollment letters.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
● Post-secondary education in business administration or equivalent is an asset
● Five years administrative experience required
● Strong communication and customer services skills and ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with students and team members.
● Ability to multitask and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
● Highly self-motivated and self-directed; objective-oriented with a high- level attention to detail.
● Strong problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
● Detail-oriented
● Ability to work with a team to achieve goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
● Strong computer and digital literacy skills.
Job Type: Contract
Work Location: Remote
Contract Start Date: July 14, 2025 (*or as soon as possible)
Contract End Date: October 2, 2025 (with the possibility of extension)
Hours: 30 -40 hours per week (as mutually agreed upon)
*Office hours are typically 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday, but negotiable upon mutual agreement
