Job Summary

  • To direct all activities required to attain Company goals including: customer service, expense management, inventory management, plan & maintain systems, and procedures for operating efficiency, manage staff for optimum performance, compliance to protocols and safety regulations.  The main role is to identify “gaps” and to find acceptable solutions to the “gaps”, inspect what you expect and to be a resource to allow the doctor(s) and staff to accomplish their objectives/goals.

General Accountabilities    

  • Contribute to developing a marketing plan that includes a strategy for attracting new clients, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and expanding community knowledge of MAH offerings.
  • Analyze productivity reports and take appropriate steps to maximize results.
  • Establish “best practice” to maximize efficiencies, productivity, and overall results.
  • Maintain established customer service standards.
  • Identify unique opportunities specific to each hospital and act upon them.
  • Maintain and utilize client educational materials.
  • Establish necessary processes to achieve the desired standard of service
  • Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends and recommending system improvements.
  • Analyze management reports as they relate to service and take necessary steps to maximize results.
  • Establish scheduling matrix to maximize opportunities.  Establish “best practices” in customer service.
  • Train, motivate and retain successful management team members.
  • Identify and develop leaders within the staff.
  • Establish coaching protocol
  • Establish effective communication channels
  • Accomplish staffing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
  • Coach managers and supervisors
  • Support communication and training efforts
  • Ensure all procedures are within compliance of state regulations
  • Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to
  • Manage any unforeseen critical situations
  • Create an environment oriented to trust, open communications
  • Lead by setting a good example
  • Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
  • Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues
  • Recognize and celebrate team and individual accomplishments
  • Work to maintain safety standards within compliance to OSHA regulations.
  • Establish strategic goals by gathering pertinent business, financial and operations information; identifying and evaluating trends and options; choosing a course of action; defining objectives; and evaluating outcomes.
  • Maintain the highest ethical, moral, and professional standards.
  • Support MAH core values
  • Participate in any company sponsored function or those business related
  • Perform other related duties as directed by the owner(s) of the Company.

 Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of strategic planning
  • Proficient in relevant software application
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives
  • Demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace

  • Frequently required to talk or hear
  • Frequently required to bend, lift, or climb
  • Frequently required to lift light weights (less than 25 pounds)
  • Infrequently required to lift moderate weights (25-40 pounds)
  • Infrequently required to lift, with assistance, weight 50 pounds or above

 Work Environment:

  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts
  • Exposure to fumes or airborne particles
  • Exposure to toxic or caustic chemicals
  • Possible risk of electrical shock
  • Possible risk of radiation
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud with large amount of background noise
