Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our dining services team as a Lead Server. The Lead Server will play a crucial role in delivering a superior dining experience to residents, ensuring a positive and enjoyable atmosphere during meal times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service Excellence:
- Provide outstanding customer service to residents and guests during meal times.
- Lead by example in delivering a high level of professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness.
- Team Coordination:
- Lead and supervise duties to the serving staff to ensure efficient and smooth dining service.
- Assist in training new servers and provide ongoing support to enhance team performance.
- Communication:
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, dining management, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service.
- Relay resident feedback and preferences to the kitchen and management teams.
- Resident Engagement:
- Build positive relationships with residents, getting to know their preferences and dietary needs.
- Anticipate and fulfill residents' needs to enhance their dining experience.
- Dining Operations:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bistro area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the availability of menu items and manage inventory.
- Have working knowledge of Full count and the ability to take orders.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all meals are presented and served according to established standards.
- Monitor cleanliness and organization of dining areas to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Training and Development:
- Stay updated on menu items, special dietary requirements, and any changes in service procedures.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance service skills and knowledge.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a server or hospitality role.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
