Position Overview: We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused individual to join our dining services team as a Lead Server. The Lead Server will play a crucial role in delivering a superior dining experience to residents, ensuring a positive and enjoyable atmosphere during meal times.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service Excellence:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to residents and guests during meal times.
  • Lead by example in delivering a high level of professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness.
  1. Team Coordination:
  • Lead and supervise duties to the serving staff to ensure efficient and smooth dining service.
  • Assist in training new servers and provide ongoing support to enhance team performance.
  1. Communication:
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, dining management, and fellow servers to ensure seamless service.
  • Relay resident feedback and preferences to the kitchen and management teams.
  1. Resident Engagement:
  • Build positive relationships with residents, getting to know their preferences and dietary needs.
  • Anticipate and fulfill residents' needs to enhance their dining experience.
  1. Dining Operations:
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the bistro area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure the availability of menu items and manage inventory.
  • Have working knowledge of Full count and the ability to take orders.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that all meals are presented and served according to established standards.
  • Monitor cleanliness and organization of dining areas to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  1. Training and Development:
  • Stay updated on menu items, special dietary requirements, and any changes in service procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing training to enhance service skills and knowledge.
  1. All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a server or hospitality role.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
