Lead-Based Paint Inspector
About the Role:
Struction Solutions is seeking a qualified Lead-Based Paint Inspector to perform inspections and testing services in compliance with state and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have experience identifying, sampling, and documenting lead-based paint hazards in residential, commercial, and government facilities.
Responsibilities:

Conduct lead-based paint inspections in accordance with EPA, HUD, and Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) regulations.

Collect and document paint, dust, and soil samples following approved methodologies.

Maintain proper chain-of-custody procedures and ensure sample integrity.

Prepare clear and accurate inspection reports detailing findings and recommendations.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.

Communicate inspection results effectively with clients, contractors, and project managers.
Requirements:

Active Louisiana Department of Health (LDH) Lead-Based Paint Inspector License (required).

Knowledge of lead-safe work practices and applicable environmental regulations.

Strong attention to detail and thorough recordkeeping.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on residential, commercial, or government projects.

Certification as a Lead Risk Assessor (preferred but not required).

Familiarity with XRF analyzers and laboratory coordination procedures.
