Laundry Attendant
Job description
The Ramada Luling, located at 13889 River Rd, Luling, LA, is now hiring for a laundry attendant/room attendant.
The Laundry Attendant/Room Attendant is responsible for laundry operations to include washing of all linens, folding, inventory, and stain management. Additional responsibilities include complete cleaning of hotel guest rooms, maintaining a housekeeping cart, and greeting and assisting guests. The schedule will include some holidays and weekends. Hotel experience is a plus but not necessary. Day shifts only. Must be a team player.
Qualifications and Skills
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Flexible and long hours are sometimes required.
Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
Ability to stand during the entire shift.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $8.50 per hour
