Laundry Aide – Full Time

West Janisch Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. This role is essential in helping us provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for the residents we serve. • Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute the facility and resident laundry

• Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently

• Ensure proper labeling and return of personal items to residents

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

• Follow infection control, safety guidelines, and facility procedures

• Work cooperatively with staff to support resident needs

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30–40 lbs and stand for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a steady workflow

• Able to follow written and verbal instructions

• Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor when interacting with residents and staff
