Landscape Construction Foreman

ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-Service Landscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. We are seeking to hire a Landscape Construction Foreman to join our Landscape Construction division.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

• Lead Crewmembers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Operate machinery (skid steer, excavator etc.)
• Lay out dimensions using blueprints
• Prepare sites including grading and drainage
• Perform hardscape installation (pavers, granite steps, bluestone, etc.)
• Perform plant and lawn installation
• Install landscape lighting

WHAT IT TAKES

• 3+ years of experience in Landscape Construction (performing the duties above) with 1+ years of experience as a Foreman, running jobs. Possess a hoisting license or be willing to obtain one.
• Valid Driver’s License
• Able to follow and provide instructions to crewmembers and offer training and guidance
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Consistent and reliable attendance
• Able to work long hours as needed and in a variety of weather conditions
• Able to perform the physical requirements of the position (e.g., walk, lift, bend, push, pull, etc.)
