Your Role:

As a Land Survey Crew Chief, you will:

  • Lead survey crews in fieldwork, ensuring high standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency.
  • Perform and manage boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and easement surveys.
  • Conduct 3D scanning and FAA-licensed drone operations for enhanced data collection and project insights.
  • Process and analyze field data using advanced survey equipment and software.
  • Produce detailed reports and documentation, maintaining clear communication with project managers, engineers, and clients.
  • Ensure equipment is well-maintained and promote safety standards on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in land surveying, with expertise in boundary surveys, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and easements.
  • Licenses and Certifications: FAA Part 107 drone license is required; Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GPS, total stations, CAD software, and 3D scanning technology.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring survey crews.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting and client interaction.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work outdoors and on various project sites as needed.
