Emerald City Kitchen & Bath, the award-winning design/build remodeling company in Plymouth, MA, is looking for a motivated individual, highly competent in all aspects of customer service and sales.
The Showroom Coordinator is key to keeping the day-to-day operations running smoothly by assisting customers and designers manage the flow of work. Providing exceptional customer service is one of our core values at Emerald City and the Coordinator will be on the front line. This is a great opportunity for someone who has been in an office manager or front desk administrative role where the work environment was fast-paced. This position is customer facing and you must be professional, very organized, and able to juggle multiple tasks.

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Greets clients and visitors enthusiastically.
- Screen potential clients and visitors to gather initial expectations on their intent.
- Manage the front reception desk with a friendly and professional attitude.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls.
- Follow up with potential customers
- Oversees day to day office activities such as maintaining showroom calendar, coordinate lunch for meetings.
- Maintains office supplies, conference room and break room cleanliness, as well as showroom organization.
- Use Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and other Suite Applications to assist production, sales, design, and executive departments.
- Assist in management of social media, company website, and other online profiles.
- Additional duties as requested.

- Mathematical skills sufficient to price, compute discounts and tally complete quotations and invoices
- Ability to calculate discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Required Experience/Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Professional oral and written communications
- Experience managing a front area or office
- 2+ years of customer facing support in a sales/retail work environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel & Teams - Able to manage multiple Outlook calendars
- Customer Service Experience (1 year)
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Experience with Google G Suite or Microsoft Office Suite Software.
- Interest in Interior Design or Cabinetry design
Preferred Experience/Qualifications
- 2 or more years of customer service experience
- Previous showroom experience
- Previous design experience
- Previous construction experience
- Previous sales experience
- Previous office manager or administrative assistant experience
- Previous experience or training in Interior Design or Cabinetry Design
- Associate or Bachelor Degree
- Experience with QuickBooks
Schedule
- Monday through Friday day shifts
- Occasional Saturday availability
Working Conditions
- Professional appearance
- Able to walk, bend, stand
- Able to work on PC screens for data entry and information gathering
- Desk within a sales showroom. Able to sit, stand and walk throughout the day based on task
- Ability to lift and/or pull 30+ lbs. Will be required to help keep the showroom tidy and organized
