Job Summary: We are seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious K&B Designer/Salesperson who thrives in a competitive environment and is passionate about building customer relationships. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, reliable, and adept at follow-up, with a strong desire to expand our customer base. Previous experience in flooring sales or outside sales is a significant advantage, as is a connection to the Baton Rouge area network. Business-to-business experience and excellent customer management skills are also preferred. Our compensation is $18.00-$25.00 an hour with a generous commission
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales
and Business Development:
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and build a robust customer base through networking, referrals, and targeted outreach.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key business clients and industry contacts within the Baton Rouge network.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients’ K&B requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience from initial contact through to post-installation follow-up.
- Work with flooring Account Managers for upsell opportunities and referrals
- Product
Knowledge and Promotion:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest K&B products, trends, and technologies to effectively advise clients and make informed recommendations.
- Present and demonstrate K&B options, including samples, to clients and highlight the benefits and features of our products.
- Administrative
Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transaction details.
- Handle customer inquiries, address concerns, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
· Previous experience in flooring sales or outside sales is highly desirable.
· Customer service experience
· Proven track record in business-to-business sales and customer management.
· Established connections within the Gulfport network is a plus.
