JV Volleyball Head Coach

Annapolis Area Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic JV Volleyball Head Coach to join our athletics department for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will lead the JV team, in line with the vision of the Head Varsity Coach, developing student-athletes’ skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

·       Planning and conducting practices, drills, and game strategies in line with the Varsity Head Coach's vision for the JV program.

·       Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players

·       Lead the team during games, including lineup decisions and in-game adjustments

·       Maintain open communication with players, parents, and coaching staff

·       Uphold and enforce team rules and school athletic policies

·       Ensure player safety and proper use of equipment

Qualifications:

• Agreement with the AACS Statement of Faith
• Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level.
• Knowledge of the game and the ability to teach technical, tactical, and mental aspects of the sport.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
• CPR/First Aid Training Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the season).
• Ability to work collaboratively with school administration and other coaches.

Compensation: 

This is a stipend position. Additional opportunities may be available within the school depending on qualifications and openings.
