JV Volleyball Assistant Coach

Annapolis Area Christian School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic JV Volleyball Assistant Coach to join our athletics department for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate will support the Head JV Coach in developing student-athletes’ skills, promoting teamwork, and fostering a positive and competitive environment.

Responsibilities:

·       Assist in planning and conducting practices, drills, and game strategies

·       Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players

·       Support the head coach during games, including lineup decisions and in-game adjustments

·       Maintain open communication with players, parents, and coaching staff

·       Uphold and enforce team rules and school athletic policies

·       Ensure player safety and proper use of equipment

Qualifications:

• Agreement with the AACS Statement of Faith
• Prior coaching experience at the high school, club, or collegiate level.
• Knowledge of the game and the ability to teach technical, tactical, and mental aspects of the sport.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. 
• CPR/First Aid Training Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to the season).
• Ability to work collaboratively with school administration and other coaches.

Compensation: 

This is a stipend position. Additional opportunities may be available within the school depending on qualifications and openings.
