About the Role
We are looking for a JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER to join our development team. In this role, you will:- Work closely with a cross-functional SCRUM team to develop our software with an emphasis on Tax and Compliance
- Work in tandem with other Software Engineers, QA Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owner to develop new code (primarily in C++)
- Present
your work on daily team stand-ups, sprint retrospectives, and other meetings, as
needed
What Do You Need?
- A Computer Science degree, OR relevant work experience
- At least 2 years of experience with the following technologies:
- C++
- VBScript (preferred)
- Experience developing applications
- Understanding of relational databases (MS SQL Server experience)
- Experience with source control tools (GIT)
- Experience in defect tracking systems (JIRA)
- Commitment to teamwork.
- Superior organization and prioritization skills while working on tight deadlines.
- Desire to learn and share with others - including excellent documentation skills.
