Junior Recruiter
Role Overview
The Junior Recruiter supports high-volume hiring by sourcing candidates, managing follow-ups, and driving onboarding steps with speed and accuracy. The Junior Recruiter works closely with senior recruiters and internal departments to keep hiring pipelines active and compliant. This position requires urgency, organization, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Source candidates through job boards, databases, and referrals
Review applications and conduct initial outreach to candidates
Schedule interviews and coordinate next steps with hiring teams
Maintain accurate candidate records and status updates in internal systems
Follow up on documentation, background checks, and onboarding requirements
Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the hiring process
Support onboarding readiness by ensuring files are complete and accurate
Track daily recruitment activity and meet assigned hiring targets
Collaborate with Recruitment Lead and department managers to support staffing needs
Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or administrative support
Strong communication and follow-up skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Comfortable making outbound calls, sending follow-ups, and managing volume
Proficiency with basic computer systems, email, and spreadsheets
Healthcare or home care experience preferred but not required
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
