Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Provide support in the design, development, testing, and sustainment of new and existing applications to address business needs
• Create technical documentation
• Working directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
• Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
• Help with releases  and daily development tasks
  

Desired Qualifications

• Software development experience in an Object-Oriented environment and Database Design
• Experience with server-side development: Microsoft.NET Framework (C#), Visual Studio, MSSQL
• Experience with client-side development: HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks
• Experience with testing: unit tests, integration tests, and UI tests
• Experience with agile software development an asset
• REST API familiarity/expertise an asset
• Familiarity and comfort with Git and GitHub
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment is an asset
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The successful individual must be a self-starter and be able to work with limited supervision.
