Junior Cooling Tower Mechanic

Our company, Chesapeake Systems is looking for a Junior Mechanic to join our team in the Hanover, MD area!

This is a great position for someone to enter into the Cooling Tower world and learn from the best!  

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to demonstrate proper and basic power and hand tool knowledge and usage 
• Must be willing to learn from others around them in proper field techniques and skills
• Completion of jobs in a timely manner that satisfies the customer
• Willingness to learn this trade and the skills that come with it to be a valued employee 
• Will need to occasionally work out of town as well as overtime and weekends (scheduled in advanced) 
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to work in tight spaces, from heights and ladders 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent 
• OSHA 10 or 30 (Not required! But beneficial) 
• Willingness to travel about 10% to 25% of the time
