What’s In It For You

•Competitive Pay: $18–$20/hr, paid via biweekly direct deposit; W-2 at year-end

•Minimum Pay Guarantee: Paid for at least 4 hours even if booked shorter; plus 4-hour

pay if the family cancels after 5 PM the night before

•Consistent but Flexible Schedule:

-Weekdays (Mon, Tue, Thu): 3 PM – 7 PM (4 hours)

-Every other weekend (Sat & Sun): Usually 8 AM – 12 PM (4 hours) or

afternoon hours if preferred

-Availability for occasional extra hours supporting the 2½-year-old as

needed

•Safety & Support: Matched with a vetted, contracted family and backed by a

responsive management team

•Optional Extra Hours: Opportunities to work with other families or at group events if

Your Role

You will care for a 4½-year-old boy (born 2021) and a 2½-year-old girl (born 2023) in

Corona del Mar (zip code 92625).

This is a single-dad household where the father has primary custody and is looking for a

reliable nanny to provide structure, consistency, and support. The family is Christian

with strong family values and health-consciousness, so a nanny who respects those

values and promotes healthy habits and nutrition will be a great fit.

Important: There is a court order requiring supervised visitation with the mother,

meaning:

•Weekday visits primarily involve supervising visitation with the mother to ensure

children’s safety and well-being

•Sometimes the mother is present; other times she is not

•Your role is to observe the mother’s capabilities impartially and discreetly, ensuring

safety and maintaining boundaries

•You are not to coach or instruct the mother but to observe and take notes

•The ideal candidate is bold, confident, and impartial, empowered to end visitation if

boundaries need to be set for children’s safety

•You will report observations while maintaining professionalism and discretion

•Weekend hours are regular sitter care without visitation supervision

•Flexibility to work extra days or earlier hours specifically to care for the 2½-year-old girl

while the boy is at school

Typical responsibilities include:

•Engaging in age-appropriate activities — indoor/outdoor play, arts & crafts, educational

games, reading, imaginative play

•Ensuring a safe, nurturing environment and attending to basic needs (feeding,

dressing, hygiene, safety routines)

•Organizing nutritious, age-appropriate meals and snacks

•Tidying up toys, play areas, dishes, and spaces used during care

•Handling light house keeping duties as needed•Supporting personal care routines (such as bathing and potty training help)

•Planning and supervising outings or developmentally enriching activities

•No transportation required

Qualifications

•Authorized to work in the U.S.

•18 years or older

•Valid U.S. driver’s license with insured, reliable vehicle

•CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to certify upon hire)

•Able to pass background check and fingerprinting

•At least 2 years of childcare experience with toddlers (ages 2–5)

•Resident of Orange County

•Passionate about caring for children and building a respectful bond with clients

•Professional, discreet, and comfortable with sensitive family dynamics and legal

requirements

•Confident, assertive, and impartial — able to set clear boundaries and protect

children’s safety while remaining neutral

•Flexible schedule with availability to accommodate extra or earlier hours for the 2½-

year-old
