Are you a detail-oriented Cost Estimator who has experience in a job shop or manufacturing facility?

In that case, Win-Tech wants to talk to you!  We are looking to expand our Quoting Department!

We work with a variety of aerospace and defense customers, machining and fabricating precision, custom parts.  You'll be challenged in this highly-precision environment. What you will make will matter and mean the world across our nation's defense, commercial corporations, and medical and construction industries.

Full-time position available: (40 hours a week)

First Shift - Monday-Thursday (6:00am-4:30pm)

Requirements:

·         Arrives to work on time and as scheduled.

·         Can interpret of drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.

·         Critical thinking skills while reading customer specifications.

·         Adapting shop practice, methods, and techniques to fit each new situation.

·         Must have proficient math skills.

·         Deadline orientated

Responsibilities:

·         Will review requests for quotes and projects from customers looking for price and lead time.

·         Source material, parts, and processes according to the project requirements.

·         Provide cost and estimated lead time based on provided parameters.

·         Work closely with Customers, Vendors, and Production to gather data that will be used to estimate jobs.

·         Follow up and evaluate open quotes.

·         Support the process planner if the quote is accepted by customer and becomes a job.

Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or GED. Or a four-year apprenticeship program.

·         Minimum five years’ experience either in a production or job shop environment.

·         Must be able to read and interpret blueprints/engineering drawings and work order instructions.

·         Must be able to give and receive verbal and written instructions clearly.

This position requires the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with co-workers.

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but has the potential to oversee quoting department.
