Jacks Bash and SDSU Football Security

Job Duties:

• Screen guests entering event space.
• Crowd and access control.
• Monitor guest behavior to meet the expectations of the venue and performing talent.
• Deter criminal activity and misconduct.
• Provide direction to guests with questions or issues.
• Perform other duties as specified in post orders.

Required Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Be able to pass a background check
• Be able to stand on your feet for up to 4 hours at a time
• Ability to provide high-quality customer service at various social levels and across diverse cultures
• Ability to be an effective team member and to work independently
• Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances and challenging individuals
• Frequent standing and walking that may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines
• Depending upon assignment may be exposed to inclement weather
• Experience and/or education in special events, military duty, security, law enforcement or criminal justice preferred
