SUMMARY

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our IT Team as a IT Technician. This role is to provide technical support and assistance to our employees at various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, troubleshooting, and problem-solving. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Provide first-line technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues both remotely and in person.  

·        Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software components, including desktops, laptops, printers, Point of Sales, and peripherals.

·        Troubleshoot basic hardware and software problems, escalating more complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.

·        Perform routine maintenance and updates on systems to ensure optimal performance and security.

·        Installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment including but is not limited to computer systems, Point of Sales systems, software, switches, routers, telephone systems, CCTV, and audio/video equipment.

·        Assist with user account management, including password resets, permissions, and access control.

·        Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and support IT infrastructure projects.

·        Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.

·        Assist with IT procurement, including researching and recommending hardware and software solutions.

·        Installation, repair, and maintenance of equipment included with the responsibilities of the Information Technologies department.  This includes but is not limited to computer systems, Point of Sales systems, software, switches, routers, telephone systems, CCTV, and audio/video equipment.

·        Assists in gathering bid prices on equipment and supplies as needed.

·        Troubleshoots technical problems and escalates problems to vendor.

·        Provides computer and systems orientation for end users.

·        Stay current with IT trends and technologies through self-study and training opportunities.

·        Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

·        Drives to and performs work at various company properties as needed.

·        All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·        Proven experience working in an IT support role, with strong knowledge of hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.

·        Proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite, as well as common business applications.

·        Familiarity with networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and wireless technologies.

·        Experience with Azure, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other directory services preferred.

·        Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.

·        Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.

·        Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service and support.

·        Ability to prioritize and multitask.

·        Willingness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.

·        Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Excellent customer presentation skills.

·        Experience in Network Cabling

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

 

·        Associate degree in information technology or related field preferred.

·        Experience with POS\PMS systems preferred.

·        Experience in Guest Service

 

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

·        Valid driver’s license required.

·        CompTIA A+ certification

·        CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
