IT Specialist
As one of the area's leading beverage distributors, our employees represent some of the most iconic brands in the world! The company is looking to fill a position for an experienced IT Specialist in our Lake Charles and Alexandria offices. The IT Specialist will manage and direct the company’s information technology (IT) operations, ensuring the department provides an efficient and effective technical support service for 125 users.

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent related field.
- 2-5 years’ experience in IT support with 25 or more users.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in the latest technology for IT systems, computers, and networks.
- Strong communication (verbal and written), leadership, critical thinking/problem solving, time management/organization skills.
- Ability to multi-task, switch-task, be analytical, precision and detail oriented.
- Ability to work after-hours, weekends, and/or travel to other locations within the state as needed.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate a positive attitude.
- Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record in accordance with company policy.
- Physical ability to frequently lift and/or move, push and/or pull, and carry equipment, supplies and materials up to 25 pounds and occasionally move equipment between 50 to 75 pounds.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Working with hardware including servers, storage, on-site phone system, security camera system, and network switches and wireless access points
- Maintain and install network devices and infrastructure
- Manage Google Workspace
- Oversee Microsoft Office 365 accounts and software licensing for end-users
- Manage firewalls including VPN connections for remote users
- Oversee desktop support for end-users Windows including software support and hardware break-fix issues
- Provide software and hardware support for beverage distribution and warehouse management system
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
