We are looking to hire our next full-time IT Project Assistant.

About the Role:

We’re seeking an organized and motivated IT Project Assistant to help drive the success of our technology initiatives. In this role, you’ll support the planning, coordination, and delivery of IT projects that optimize operations across the organization. The IT Project Assistant will work closely with IT leadership, project managers, vendors, and end users—keeping projects on track and communication flowing smoothly.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong administrative or technical background who enjoys problem-solving, learning new systems, and contributing to key business initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking IT projects and initiatives.

Support the coordination of tasks between IT teams, business units, and external vendors.

Maintain device and software inventories, standard configurations, and lifecycle tracking.

Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and follow up on action items for project meetings.

Help communicate updates, risks, and changes to stakeholders.

Maintain IT documentation, templates, and knowledge repositories.

Assist with procurement tracking, purchase orders, and vendor documentation.

Support onboarding/offboarding tasks related to IT assets and system access.

Prepare presentations, progress reports, and dashboards for leadership.

Log and track risks/issues, escalating critical matters with mitigation suggestions.

Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and communication across IT.

Provide general IT support for special initiatives, audits, or rollout activities.

Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

A problem-solver who enjoys bringing structure and clarity to complex processes.

Willing to learn and apply IT best practices, including ITIL principles.

Comfortable working collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED, plus 2–3 years of related experience or training.

Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, or software implementation.

Strong documentation, coordination, and troubleshooting skills.

Valid driver’s license required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business, or a related field.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Fundamentals.

Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Work Environment:

Standard office environment with computer workstation setup.

May require sitting for extended periods with occasional standing or light mobility.

Occasional travel to local sites within regular working hours.
