IT Managed Services - Senior Technician
Fusion Managed IT is seeking a self-starter to provide level 2 and 3 support of client networks and systems in a managed services environment. This individual will primarily be responsible for servicing tickets but must also remain flexible to provide onsite support when necessary. This person will also be required to help maintain proper documentation of the network and system landscapes for all clients. The technician should be an effective problem solver, a quick learner, and should feel comfortable with adapting to new and complex technologies. Candidates must have good communication skills, be positive, and have at least 6 years of experience, ideally in Client-facing environments ranging from 25-500+ Users.

- Experience supporting PCs (Windows 7/10/11)
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365
- Expert understanding of LAN administration tasks (e.g., user administration, back-ups, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server versions 2012/2016/2019 and Active Directory
- Expert understanding of networking concepts (such as DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, file and print services, etc.)
- Expert understanding of routers, switches and firewalls
- Expert understanding of virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.)
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Experience with Fortinet products is a plus
- Experience working in a managed IT services environment is a plus
- Able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance
- Able to safely climb ladders while carrying items weighing up to 20 lbs
CERTIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION
- A+ or equivalent experience required
- Network+ or equivalent experience preferred but not required
- High School Diploma required
