Position Overview

We’re seeking a versatile and patient-focused Pharmacy Technician to join our retail team at our Seaside Farms location. This full-time position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and excels in multiple areas—from production and data entry to customer service and SWEETPAK assistance. The ideal candidate brings certified technician experience (preferred), a deep understanding of retail pharmacy flow, and a proactive communication style.

Our Seaside Farms location fills between 150 to 300 prescriptions daily. You’ll work closely with pharmacists and team members to support seamless front-end and back-end operations while creating a positive experience for every patient.

Key Responsibilities

Retail Pharmacy Operations

• Process prescription orders accurately using PioneerRx software.

• Provide front-line support at the pharmacy counter, assisting patients with pickups and questions.

• Deliver exceptional customer service in alignment with Sweetgrass Pharmacy standards.

• Collaborate with the team to prioritize and fill daily prescription volume efficiently.

Communication & Problem Solving

• Communicate clearly and professionally with team members using communication platforms (Slack experience preferred).

• Respond promptly to internal messages and coordinate task flow across the team.

• Practice sound judgment and empathy when assisting with patient concerns or medication issues.

SWEETPAK Support

• Assist with the preparation and organization of patient-specific SWEETPAK compliance packaging as needed.

• Maintain quality control and accuracy standards while contributing to this specialized program.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

• Familiarity with pharmacy management software, especially PioneerRx.

• Experience using communication systems or platforms (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc.).

• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive and patient-first approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).

• Experience in both retail and compliance packaging settings.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Work Environment

This role operates onsite in a retail pharmacy environment at our Seaside Farms location. You’ll spend time supporting both the front of the pharmacy and production areas. The daily prescription volume ranges between 150 to 300, requiring agility and focus. The role also occasionally includes assisting with our SWEETPAK packaging program. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and rooted in a strong commitment to patient care and communication.
