Job Title: Inventory Specialist

Location: One Plant Dispensary, Antioch

Salary: $18 per hour

Job Description:

As an Inventory Specialist at One Plant Dispensary in Antioch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate inventory management and organization within our facility. You will work closely with the inventory manager and other team members to maintain efficient operations and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:

• Receive incoming shipments of cannabis products and verify accuracy against purchase orders.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and organization of products.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies and ensure accurate inventory levels.
• Monitor inventory levels and anticipate restocking needs to prevent stockouts.

• Enter inventory data into our tracking system accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory transactions, including sales, returns, and adjustments.
• Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover rates, and discrepancies as needed.

• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding inventory management and reporting.
• Stay updated on changes to cannabis laws and regulations that may impact inventory procedures.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with security protocols related to inventory storage and handling.

• Coordinate with other departments, including sales and procurement, to fulfill inventory needs and resolve any issues.
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.

• Inspect incoming shipments for quality and consistency, reporting any issues to management.
• Monitor product expiration dates and ensure that expired products are removed from inventory in a timely manner.

• Assist customers with inquiries related to product availability and pricing.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to customers based on their preferences and needs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or cannabis industry setting.
• Knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
• Familiarity with cannabis products and regulations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Must be 21 years of age or older and comply with all state and local regulations regarding cannabis employment.
