Inventory Manager

Position Summary: The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the Company’s inventory. The position will work to maintain accurate counts of all inventoried items, ensure that the warehouse and yards are secure and organized and oversee the procurement of new inventory purchases. The Inventory Manager will work closely with other internal teams as well as maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. This position will report to the Wamsutter, WY field office.

Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse and yard functions.
· Oversee and manage the daily operation of the warehouse and yards.
· Manage warehouse deliveries and all movements into and out of the warehouse and yards.
· Operate equipment such as forklifts, loaders, pallet jacks, etc.
· Ensure all warehouse and yard staff and contractors maintain the necessary safety training and all personnel operating equipment maintain the required certifications.
· Work with operations, engineers and field personnel to determine and maintain appropriate inventory levels based on activity and inventory turn rates, identify obsolete inventory and ensure all inventory related needs are met timely.
· Facilitate sale of surplus items or unused items from inventory as needed after verifying it is not useful to other teams.
· Oversee quarterly “Request For Proposal” process related to inventory items.
· Conduct quarterly inventory counts and assist with inventory reconciliations.
· Assist the Accounting Team with material transfer documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficient in use of MS Office products.
- Experience in Warehousing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, or related fields
- 5-10 Years of relevant experience preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and driver’s record in good standing.
- An acceptable pre-employment background and drug screen.
