Intern - Civil Engineer (or related engineering field)

FOXXSTEM is looking for Civil Engineering Interns interested in working in our transportation, water resources, utility infrastructure groups. This position will be supported by a senior mentor to ensure growth and development. 

 The Civil Engineering intern may work remotely and perform assignments related to the following: 

·        Work on various transportation, water resources, utility infrastructure within the region’s geographic area 

·        Interpret plans and specifications 

·        Develop drawings for construction 

·        Work closely with other design disciplines 

·        Assist with preparation of meetings and participation with the client and our partners 

·        Attend field meetings and site investigations, as required 

·        Daily communication with team

Required Experience and Education: 

·        Candidate should either be a rising Senior in a Civil Engineering major or related field.  

Other Preferences:   

·        Ability to learn Microstation (GeoPak, InRoads or OpenRoads), Revit or BIM softwares is a plus.
