It requires a well-rounded understanding of building systems, project coordination, and client engagement. The role is based fully in-office to foster direct team collaboration and strong cross-functional coordination.

- Serve as Project Manager or support senior staff in the management of scope, schedule, team deliverables, budgets, and communication, following established firm processes.
- Support or lead preparation of proposals, fee estimates, and responses to RFPs.
- Participate in contract review meetings and assist with risk identification and mitigation planning.
Design + Documentation
- Participate in and support the creation of conceptual and schematic design ideas with strong graphic and presentation skills.
- Lead or assist with the development of contract drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with office standards, development bylaws, and applicable building codes.
- Coordinate submission drawings for authority approvals and contribute to tender documentation packages.
- Ensure technical quality and accuracy in design and construction documentation using Revit and CAD.
- Support quality control efforts and internal design review processes.
Project Support + Coordination
- Prepare and manage project documentation including meeting minutes, transmittals, and authority applications.
- Maintain project filing systems to organize related information and correspondence.
- Coordinate with consultants, internal teams, and municipal authorities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist with or manage project scheduling, resource planning, and milestone tracking using project management software.
- Working with Senior staff, assist with or manage RAIC contracts and/or fee proposals
- Ensure all work aligns with the firm’s Project Delivery standards, including proper use of filing systems, adherence to architectural procedures, and compliance with drawing and documentation protocols.
Team + Culture
- Foster a collaborative, open studio environment that promotes creativity, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff, especially during early design phases.
- Adhere to all company health and safety protocols and support a respectful and inclusive workplace.
- Able to work in a collaborative, in-office environment (100% in-office presence required to support direct team engagement and effective cross-functional coordination).
Qualifications
- Degree in Architecture or a related design discipline from a recognized post-secondary institution.
