Position Description:
We are looking for an Intensive Services Specialist to join our Team!
Nulton Diagnostic & Treatment Center is accepting applications for an Intensive Services Specialist. The Intensive Services Specialist will complete intakes for the EOP program, provide individual sessions, as needed and oversee the CBIT BCMS’s in Blair and Cambria counties with assistance of the director and wellness nurse.
Some of the specific duties will include preparing initial treatment plan, interacting with local agencies for referrals, documenting client behaviors in therapeutic activities and staff interventions to support progress on goals, completing progress notes and discharge summaries.
Education, Experience, Skills, Training:
The following minimum requirements shall be met by the Intensive Services Specialist:
A. A master’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation, activity therapies, counseling or education and 3 years mental health direct care experience; or
B. A bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, gerontology, anthropology, history, criminal justice, theology, counseling, education, or be a registered nurse, and 5 years mental health direct care experience, 2 of which shall include supervisory experience; or
C. A bachelor’s degree in nursing and 3 years mental health direct care experience.
