Insurance Premium Payment Associate (Hybrid)
We are seeking an Insurance Premium Payment Associate to support insurance payment operations within a Sentara facility. This is a non-clinical role with no patient care involved.
Key Responsibilities

Answer a high volume of inbound calls (approx. 99% of the role)

Assist members with insurance premium payments, rates, and billing inquiries

Process and document payments accurately in the system

Route calls to appropriate departments

Provide professional, high-quality customer service

Multitask by talking, typing, and navigating dual monitors simultaneously
Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
-
1+ year of customer service phone experience (call center preferred)

Strong computer and multitasking skills
-
Clear, professional communication
-
Ability to work from home with reliable internet and a quiet workspace
Additional Details
-
Hybrid position after training (up to 4 days remote per week)

Experience with insurance payments or billing preferred

New systems include QNXT and WiPro (SLP)
