Instrument Fitter/Fabricator

Andon Energy Services is searching for a full-time Instrument Fitter/Fabricator to join our team in Houston, TX. 

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Responsibilities:

• Assembling instrumentation panels, gas/liquid sample systems, and analyzer systems.
• Using tools such as tube benders, deburring tools, hand tools, and pipe threaders.
• Reading and interpreting P&IDs, isometrics, and mechanical drawings.
• Mounting regulators, transmitters, analyzers, and valves to specification.
• Performing pressure/leak testing and preparing systems for quality checks.
• Collaborating with team members to resolve layout or fit-up challenges.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical assembly or instrumentation.
• Proficient in tubing layout, bending, and installation of compression fittings.
• Familiar with instrumentation such as flow meters, regulators, and transmitters.
• Ability to follow mechanical drawings, datasheets, and technical layouts.
• Possession of, or eligibility for, a TWIC card.
• High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications preferred.

HOW TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE? Preferred experience:

• Experience working with analyzer systems or industrial instrumentation.
• Experience working with low-voltage systems (240V and below) is a plus.
• Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to craftsmanship.
• Familiarity with safe work practices and high-integrity installations.
