Inside Sales _ Solutions Specialist

ErieTec is looking for individuals with mechanical, electrical, and mathematical aptitude with a sales focus and intent to provide successful solutions to our customers. This role will join a fast-growing team with the ability to train and develop.

Responsibilities:

• Process all incoming internal and external customer inquiries via phone, fax, email, mail, or online, and assist outside sales in quotes and/or orders.
• Input customer orders, quotes, bid, etc. for products.
• Purchase of products to fill said orders.
• Quote and sell our supplier’s products that provide value to our customers and a fair profit to the Company.
• Identify, contact, provide quotes, and close orders on potential and targeted customers.
• Use electronic and published catalogs to provide customers product, pricing, and availability information.

·         Willingness and ability to learn mechanical/electrical products.

• Handle customer complaints and returns, while showing a positive attitude.
• Obtain knowledge of the competition’s pricing provided to customers, along with their products, financial data, sales numbers, and profit margins.
• Provide the best service in the industry to our customers.

·         Adherence and compliance with the company’s Certificate of Conflicts of Interest, Confidentiality and Standards of Business Ethics, and Hiring Standards

REQUIREMENTS

·         Sales experience preferred, customer service experience required.

·         Experience with industrial distribution is desirable but not required.

·         Effective written and verbal communication.

·         Strong computer skills.

·         Read, differentiate, and analyze information to achieve required information/product/results for customer application.

·         Appreciable planning and medium complex decision-making skills.

·         Interact with technical personnel and management decision-makers.

·         Considerable amount of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

·         Moderate physical requirements involving standing, sitting, stooping, bending, lifting up to 50 lbs. (70 lbs.+ with assistance) infrequently.

·         Communicate verbally and written in a clear, concise, and logical format.

·         Clean driving record.

·         Authorized to legally work in the United States.

·         Must be able to pass a background check.
