Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative

Chesapeake Systems is looking to add an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our Parts Department. This position plays a key role in supporting our customers and ensuring smooth coordination across multiple divisions and product lines. Essential Functions:
- Work directly with customers and provide quotes and process orders for various parts and some equipment sales
- Work closely with vendors to verify and expedite orders
- Enter all orders in our current accounting/business system
- Process returned goods to vendors or the Chesapeake inventory
- Remain knowledgeable on the parts and equipment of all current and future manufacturers sold by Chesapeake Systems
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of similar experience in customer service or inside sales
- Experience in the industry is a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to navigate factory websites and online ordering
Physical Demands:
- This position will work primarily in the office environment of the parts department and in the warehouse anytime the need arises
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment
- Must be able to use a computer to access, input, and retrieve information
- Must be able to tolerate warm and cool working environments
- May on occasion, be required to lift up to 25lbs.
Base Pay: $58,000 - $70,000 (Bonus available)
- Commensurate with experience. This range represents a general guideline, however a number of factors are considered when determining base pay offers such as the scope of responsibilities of the position and the candidate' experience, education, skills and current market conditions
