Inside Sales Associate/Customer Service
New Hope Mills, located in Auburn, NY, and home to our well-known pancake mixes and our growing Store and Café, seeks an Inside Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and sales , be a self-starter, competitive, driven, articulate, thoughtful and have experience with CRM software.. Your duties will be to :
- Answers customer questions and assists marketing with operations when needed.
- Assist the Insides Sales Representative to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Process orders via e-mail and internet.
- Performs order entry.
- Confirms orders with customers and ensures accuracy.
- Manages customer provided inventory as needed.
- Informs and advises current customers concerning new products.
- Communicates company response to non-critical complaints.
- Prioritizes current customer needs in relation to company sales goals.
- Directly communicates with customers and manages their expectations when unforeseen circumstances occur in the manufacturing or supply process.
- Assist Sales Manager in communication of necessary changes in customer expectations.
- Provides customers with pricing lists, item lists, and advice concerning various sales documentation.
- Reports sales status to Sales Manager.
- Supports other department by performing various job duties when needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
HS diploma or equivalent is required; 1-3 years prior experience in sales or administrative work. Must have excellent computer skills as well as phone skills. Must be organized and have excellent follow-up skills. We offer a competitive hourly rate plus benefits. This position is FT, Monday through Friday. NYS Drivers license is required as you may be required to travel to customer sites on an occasion. We are a substance free work environment. EOE
