Information Systems Tech
Position Purpose
Responsible for supporting Information Systems (IS) management in achieving organizational performance goals and in facilitating the coordination of research, analysis and other support services necessary to launch or manage programs and services that have high level impact on organizational success. Responsible for assuring that work progress and assignments are reported Vice President IS. Works closely with all IS staff, including the Vice President and Directors, to assure that efforts and systems are not duplicative and that they support each other. Reviews internal and external assessments and other healthcare data and service are information identifying service area needs that contribute to strategy development. Maintains updated information on trends that will affect organization’s ability to succeed.
Directs, plans and oversees the efforts necessary to insure compatibility, accuracy and integration of hospital information systems, which support the IS strategies and tactics as they relate to the hospital mission, vision, and overall strategies. Manages the day–to–day departmental operations of the Information Systems Division. Establishes policies, procedures, standards and objectives as needed to support the automation of the healthcare process. Manages the installation of information systems solutions and develops educational/training programs on the use and access of information of healthcare professionals.
Responsible for compliance with all report and review activities (i.e.: Monthly reports, Internal Audit, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
