This Industrial Supplies Product Manager will help coordinate, organize, sell, grow, and promote industrial supplies throughout Purvis Industries.  We currently sell a variety of Industrial Supplies to customers around the country.  This role’s responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·         Analyze the products we sell to customers currently and use that analysis to consolidate purchases down to a core group of key suppliers.

·         Organize our sales and marketing efforts around the key products that we choose to sell and promote.

·         Work to ensure we have the correct stock position on the key Industrial Supplies we will be selling.

·         Be a technical resource for the company's inside and outside sales efforts.

·         Work with our eCommerce group to ensure that the right products are available online with the proper information for customers to make informed decisions.

·         Reports to the VP of Corporate Operations

·         Conduct independent education on a variety of industrial supplies and the features/benefits of each product we will be selling.

·         Collaborate with Account Managers to connect Industrial Supply knowledge with new sales ventures.

·         Grow relationships with key Industrial product suppliers.

Requirements:

·         Distribution background or Logistics background preferred.

·         Microsoft Excel skills are needed to analyze data from our ERP system.

·         Strong communication and writing skills

·         Ability to work independently and in partnership with a variety of internal and external professional relationships

·         Supply Chain Knowledge

·         Meticulous/Attention to Detail

·         Authorized to work in the United States

·         Able to pass a background check
