In-Room Dining Attendant
The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a In-Room Dining Attendant to work with our Front Desk Team.
The In-Room Dining Attendant is responsible for delivering high-quality, efficient, and courteous room service to our guests. This role involves taking orders, delivering food and beverages, setting up and removing trays and tables, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
- Order Management: Receive and process room service orders from guests and ensure accuracy in the preparation and delivery of food and beverages.
- Delivery and Setup: Promptly deliver orders to guest rooms, ensuring that all items are presented attractively and that any special requests are accommodated.
- Guest Interaction: Provide friendly, professional service to guests, addressing any questions or concerns they may have and ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of service trays, carts, and areas; follow all sanitation guidelines and procedures.
- Coordination: Communicate effectively with the kitchen, front desk, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Check and Collect: Verify that guests receive all items ordered, collect payment or ensure charges are correctly posted to guest accounts, and handle any discrepancies.
- Upselling: Promote menu items, specials, and additional services to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Removal and Cleanup: Promptly retrieve trays from guest rooms, ensuring that all items are removed and that any special requests are accommodated.
- Feedback: Gather guest feedback and report any issues or suggestions to management to continuously improve service.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
- Experience: Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Customer Service: Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate and meet guest needs.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry trays and carts, stand and walk for extended periods, and handle various physical demands.
- Availability: Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
