BAS Controls Technician

Benchmark Automation and Controls, a trusted leader in building automation and control systems, is seeking an experienced Controls Technician with strong expertise in Schneider Electric systems to join our team in the Mid-Atlantic!

What You’ll Do:

• Install, configure, and program Schneider Electric building automation and control systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair system issues to ensure peak performance.
• Perform system start-up, commissioning, and integration with other building systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to deliver high-quality results.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and as-built drawings.
• Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and upgrades to client systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in the building automation or controls industry.
• Proven hands-on experience with Schneider Electric (EcoStruxure, INET, VISTA etc.) systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and control drawings.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites.

Preferred:

• Industry certifications related to Schneider Electric controls.
• Experience with other BAS platforms (e.g., Tridium Niagara).

Base Pay:  $35/hr - $45/hr 

·         Commensurate with experience.  This range represents a general guideline; however, several factors are considered when determining base pay offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
